Texas Secondary Math (TX7)
In 1998 the State of Texas replaced its Instructional Targets with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, or TEKS. As a result, a new exam, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, or TAKS has been developed and will be implemented in 2003.
The TAKS exam is a completely re-designed assessment. The new design is intended to pose more authentic questions and more accurately measure student learning. EducAide is pleased to serve our Texas customers with a new collection of TAKS/TEKS-aligned modules.
TX7 is the TAKS revision of TX3. EducAide's TEXAS Secondary Math module is a collection of over 3200 multiple-choice problems based on the TAKS objectives and TEKS for grades 7 through exit-level,
Teachers in Texas and around the US will appreciate the organization of this module. The problems are organized by topic, the TAKS objective, and the TEKS therefore it is very easy to customize practice tests and worksheets for students who are having difficulty in certain areas.
