Before installing the update, please note the following:

EducAide recommends keeping up to date with maintenance releases via the Acces4 menu. Choose Help > Check For Updates... and follow the instructions. If your version of Acces does not have this menu option, then download this file, which will install the Acces4 updater. Afterward, launch Acces and then choose Help > Check For Updates... to proceed. If you are running a network installation of Acces, please have your network adminstrator download and, if necessary, apply the update.

This update requires that Acces 4.0.2585 or higher be installed on your computer. (You can find the version of Acces by choosing Help > About Acces) The update will safely install on top of your present version of Acces. You should NOT erase any files beforehand or remove the old version from your computer.

The update contains only program files, no data. Therefore, all licensed modules need to be installed before the update.

Directions:

  1. Save the file to your computer.
  2. Quit Acces, if it is running.
  3. Run the file, and click Update.
