In this article, you will learn how to change a multiple choice problem into a free response problem by hiding its answer choices.

1. Select the problem in the Document Tree.
2. Select Format > Multiple Choice.
3. Select "Make questions free response (hide Multiple Choice)".
4. Select "Apply settings to current Problem only". Alternately, you can select "Apply settings to entire document"
5. Click OK to return to the Document Window.
