Acces 4.4 update - February 2012

What's New

• New Palette in the Problem/Passage Editor offering
  • Font Icons: Thousands of pictures in a number of subjects.
  • Objects: Several useful objects such as calculators, calendars, or grids.
  • Spacing: Blanks, vertical and horizontal space, or special space characters.
  • Special characters: The same special characters are still available, including mathematical symbols and greek letters.
• Rename the current problem's value in the document tree display from the edit menu or by right clicking. Works with many of the problem display options.

Bug fixes

• Fix for error while updating.
• Fix for editing tables losing fixed width.

Help and Support Center

Acces' Support Center has grown. There are many more guides, especially for math formulas, graphics and reading passages. For example, you can learn how to paste in formulas, edit a graphic, or convert a passage from a PDF file to a ‘re-formatable’ passage in Acces. For details, please visit:

Installation and Compatibility

The Acces4 update goes on top of any installation from CD 2.1 or higher. There is no need to uninstall. Any documents you created with an older version of Acces will open just fine.
