Test/Wksh. Options

Test/Wksh. Options Page

This command brings up the Test/Worksheet Options layout page. The three different sections let you set/override how your document's Parts and Problems are laid out. Note that this menu item is only available if the current document template is set to Test/Worksheet.

As with all other options in the second group of the Format Menu, certain options on this page may be disabled, depending on whether or not the settings are to be applied to the current Part/Problem, or the entire document.

Layout

The Layout section contains the same Test/Worksheet-specific options found in the Document Setup page. For more information about these settings, see the Test/Worksheet page.

Problem Resizing

This section tells Acces what to do when it encounters problems that are too large to fit in their column. These settings can be ignored if the current Part or the entire document is set to one column only.

Span Problems Across the Page

Select this option if you want Acces to cause large problems to span the entire page.

Shrink Figures and Text

Select this option if you want Acces to try and fit large problems in their column by shrinking any figures used by the problem, and/or shrinking the problem's font.

Page Breaks

This section is used to insert page breaks before or after the Parts and/or Problems in your document. Page breaks can be set to ensure that Parts/Problems start:

on a new page
A page break will always be inserted before the Part/Problem.
on continuous page
No page breaks are inserted; Parts/Problems appear right after each another on the same page (provided tht they fit).
on an odd page
A page break will be inserted before the Part/Problem only if the Part/Problem doesn't already start on an odd-numbered page.
on new column
A column break will be inserted before the Part/Problem only if the Part/Problem doesn't already start at the top of a column. For single-column documents, this option is equivalent to the on a new page option.
